As a the festive season approaches, it’s time to reflect on my best natural wedding photography of 2024! At this time of year, I always find myself thinking ‘where did the time go?’… and 2024 is no exception!
As I write my best-of blog post, I’m once again grateful for all the couples that have invited me in to be part of their celebrations. It means so much to be involved in such a varied selection of weddings. This year I’ve had the privilege of shooting weddings in new venues, destination locations, and seeing different cultures and traditions. And each and every time it’s been a joy to embrace all the emotion and fun of your amazing days.
Natural Wedding Photography
My wedding photography style is relaxed and natural and I’m focused on my couples having a blast on their wedding days! As in previous years, you’ll see lots of fun wedding photos and colourful wedding photography in this collection. My signature vibrant editing style is still very much my jam. And my couples often book me because they are lovers of colour – something which is very much a theme this year!
Another recurring theme was some of my all-time favourite wedding venues popping up again, such as gorgeous Plas Dinam Country House which I have a great ongoing relationship with. I also shot at some new venues which is great for fresh ideas and inspiration…
In August I shot my first destination wedding in while at Châteux de Carsix in France which was beautiful. I spent two weekends on the trot in Northumberland, at very different yet equally special venues! Firstly at Hexham Abbey which was absolutely stunning and historic. And secondly I loved doing these Charlton Hall wedding photos for Vicky & Danny. Their wedding venue had amazing views and oodles of non-traditional charm. I hope to be back there again soon.
Wedding Photographer Manchester
Of course I’ve spent many a weekend closer to home shooting weddings in Manchester, Cheshire and the North West area. I’ve continued to shoot at my most local venue Sale Town Hall, which is such a little gem. Can you believe I’ve now reached the milestone of 13 years as a Manchester wedding photographer?!
Like last year, in 2024 my couples have continued to do things a little differently… The class of 2024 defied tradition and planned weddings that felt right for them. This looked different for each and every couple.. and I was more than willing to roll with the vibes and get stuck in! I’m thrilled to keep on providing non-traditional wedding photography to my couples.
Wishing big love and congratulations to all my couples who got hitched in 2024! I’m so grateful that you chose my to capture your weddings!
Best Wedding Photographs 2024
In 2025, I’ll be continuing to offer my couples wedding photography that’s tailored to them and their plans. The half-day wedding photography package I introduced last year proved very popular and will be having a re-name to ‘The Essentials’ package. This is because it does just that: I cover all the essential bits of your wedding day with no extra fuss!
If you would like colourful wedding photography from a Manchester wedding photographer with 13 years of experience… You can request my brochure and find out more about my work. If you’ve just got engaged at Christmas and are planning a 2025 wedding, I would love to hear from you!
I hope you all have very merry Christmas! Thanks a million to all my couples, fabulous venues, fellow wedding suppliers and everyone who supports me and my business. I’m wishing you all the happiness for 2025!
