It’s time for my annual best colourful wedding photography post! Weddings have got well and truly back into full swing this year and I can’t wait to share my favourites from 2022. If you’d like to look back and see the cream of last years crop, take a look at Best Wedding Phography at my blog.
Best Colourful Wedding Photography
It’s no secret that my couples choose me for colourful wedding photography that’s relaxed and fun. So naturally you’ll find that my best wedding photography reflects this, with loads of smiles and happy faces plus BIG pops of colour! I like to think of this collection as a vibrant and joyful montage of 2022 and the lovely weddings I got to be a part of.
After an extremely busy year of weddings in 2021, this year has gone at a steadier pace. There’s only a few Pandemic-postponed weddings to catch up on and things have been pretty much back to normal, thank goodness! I also managed to to take time off this year and spent November travelling round Europe in a van!
Once again this year of weddings has been a joy to shoot. Huge congratulations to all of you who got hitched in 2022, you were awesome!
Wedding Photographs
After a a few years of smaller weddings, in 2022 bigger weddings were back. Many of my couples opted for weekend-long celebrations, hiring country houses or hosting their weddings at home over multiple days. The trend for having more relaxed, less structured wedding days has continued. I’m all for non-traditional weddings and I hope that the preference for ditching convention carries on long into the future!
Personal Branding Photography
The personal branding photography side of my business has continued to grow, as has my collaboration with That’s Her Business. The collective now has four of us working to produce beautiful branding work for women-led businesses. Next year I intend to launch a separate website for my commercial photography, so if you’d like to support me please give my personal branding Instagram account a follow!
Best Wedding Photography 2022
As always, it’s been a struggle to narrow down my best wedding photographs from a whole year’s worth of weddings. As you can imagine, going through thousands of images and only picking 50 or so for a blog post isn’t easy! But it’s great to get in a reflective mood and re-visit all the wedding photography I’ve shot in a year, including some moments I had forgotten all about. I’m sure it’s even more special for my clients when they look through their own wedding photographs a year (…or 10 years!) on.
Huge thanks to all my couples, second shooters fellow wedding suppliers and everyone who has supported me and my business this year. A happy new year to you all!
