It’s that time of the year again… my best fun wedding photographs of 2023! This year has absolutely flown by and I can’t quite believe I’m reflecting on 2023’s crop of weddings already… If you too are stunned that another year is over (!), you might like to look back and see the Best Colourful Wedding Photography 2022.

I like to describe my wedding photography as colourful, relaxed and fun… so you’ll see lots of upbeat and lighthearted images in this collection. Once again, the wedding photographs I shot in 2023 were full of smiley faces and lots of laughter. And of course, a shed load of vibrant colour!
This year I revisited some of my favourite wedding venues, such as the stunning Plas Dinam Country House and urban favourite Manchester Hall. I also had the pleasure to shoot at wedding venues new to me. A particular favourite was Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield, which is an alternative wedding venue I would love to return to.

2023 has also been a year of variety. No two weddings have been similar! I have had the joy of capturing big Asian fusion weddings with lots of guests and colour, to non-traditional weddings with delicious street food buffets. Variety is absolutely the spice of my job. It keeps me on my toes and wanting more for sure! As I’ve said before, I hope that my couples’ preference for doing things differently carries on for many years to come.

So what’s next for 2024? As I mentioned above, it’s clear that weddings are now coming in all shapes and sizes as couples’ plan to suit them, rather than tradition. I have been getting lots of requests for shorter coverage options, so I have launched a new half-day package in response to this.
