Peddler Warehouse Wedding

Capturing Anna and Joe’s Peddler Warehouse wedding in Sheffield was a truly unique and wonderful experience for me. Having previously met Anna when photographing her cousin Jen’s wedding, it was a joy to be part of another family celebration. Word of mouth recommendations are brilliant for my small business and reconnecting with previous couples at new events is always a delight.

Anna and Joe’s wedding plans immediately intrigued me. They envisioned a more free-flowing day, opting to skip the usual formalities. They chose not to have a sit-down meal, speeches, cake cutting, or a first dance. This decision granted them the freedom to savour their wedding day at their own pace. Resulting in the most relaxed wedding I have ever witnessed!

Relaxed Wedding in Sheffield

The wedding ceremony took place in Sheffield Town Hall, situated in the city centre. The impressive venue set the stage for a low-key yet intimate legal ceremony. Choosing a later ceremony time allowed the couple to seamlessly transition into an evening of food and fun.

The newlyweds exited the wedding ceremony to a heartwarming sight… Their enthusiastic dog, Otis, was eagerly awaiting them! This adorable moment with Otis, along with a trip to The Peace Gardens, added a unique touch to their colourful wedding photography album. Regular readers of my blog will know I love a pet cameo!

Wedding Photos Peddler Warehouse

The celebrations continued at Peddler Warehouse, where Anna and Joe made a grand entrance to confetti canons! The festivities kicked off with acoustic tunes to set the tone for the drinks reception. Meanwhile Tikks Thai street food van fired up the ovens, ready to serve tasty dishes for the guests to savour. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride quite as happy with their dinner as Anna!

DJ Jimmy the Gent started spinning the tunes during dinner and the evening flowed straight onto the dance floor. Everyone could take the wedding day at their own pace, choosing where to sit and what they wanted to do. Weather that was hitting the dance floor hard, catching up with their loved ones or participating in the highly competitive beer pong tournament!

I couldn’t resist making the most of the industrial charm of the venue for some unique wedding photos Peddler Warehouse… The plants hanging from the ceiling looked fantastic and I wanted to use this unique backdrop in Anna and Joe’s portraits. It just meant they had to climb on top of a table. Which isn’t easy after a few tequilas!

Holding their wedding at Peddler Warehouse Sheffield was a perfect fit for Anna and Joe. The venue’s cool industrial aesthetic aligned with their preference for laid-back vibes over a traditional wedding. The open layout allowed them to transform the space, incorporating long tables and chill-out areas for guests of all ages. It was the ideal space for a relaxed wedding focused on what Anna and Joe normally do with their friends. Eating, drinking and having fun!

In true Peddler spirit, Anna and Joe infused their wedding with a community vibe by supporting local businesses who provided the catering. All in all, Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield was the perfect place for a creative wedding as bold and vibrant as Anna and Joe’s tastes. I can see how this Sheffield wedding venue has become a preferred choice for modern couples seeking a one-of-a-kind wedding experience.

“Cass photographed my cousin’s wedding 5 years ago. I loved her work so was always hopeful if the time came for me that she would be available and she was! Cass was a pleasure to work with, responsive and clear about expectations on both parts. She offered her advice and expertise on what would work best for the type of wedding we were having.

On the day, Cass was a dream and it was like she was one of the family. Our wedding wasn’t the usual type of wedding with a sit down meal and any formalities. This didn’t phase her despite us not having set times for things.
