Wedding Photography Cheshire
I’ve got some Cheshire wedding photography on my blog for you today! Charly & Tom were married at the weekend at St. Wilfred’s Church in Mobberley. They held their stylish wedding reception in a yurt at Charly’s parents home. The whole day was relaxed and fun for all the guests. And even though it was a bit rainy, the weather definitely didn’t get in the way of an amazing celebration! In fact, I think you’ll notice that Charly & Tom didn’t stop smiling all day!
Before I tell you more about Tom & Charly’s day, I wanted to give a quick shout out to Emma Beaumont who made Charly’s dress. It was so beautiful! My second shooter Imogen and I were big fans of Charly’s style. We loved her choice of dress (and had serious hair envy too!)

Wedding receptions at home have been very popular with my couples this summer. Tipis, marquees and yurts look lovely in the garden and are brilliant for customising your day just how you want it. Tom & Charly chose a pastel colour scheme of white and pink tones and decorated their yurt with fresh flowers and lots of balloons. During the evening they projected colours and patterns onto the roof of the yurt, which looked great along with the sparkle of the glitter ball.
Charly & Tom’s yurt not only looked fantastic, it was also the perfect setting for a relaxed big day. Knowing they weren’t stuck to any strict timings made the day flow so nicely. After their ceremony at St. Wilfrid’s, all the guests headed into the yurt to chat and sip champagne. They were treated to gorgeous canapes before dinner and Oyster Meister was also on hand with seafood treats (which made for some great photos of the oysters being eaten!)
Once the night drew in, Tom & Charly hit the floor for their first dance to Wonderwall by Oasis. It’s just one of those songs that everyone can’t help joining in with and soon the dance floor was absolutely rammed with guests singing and dancing! I’m pretty sure these party people were in for a long night of wedding celebrations in the Cheshire countryside!
Congratulations Charly & Tom and thank you for having us along!
