It’s always a pleasure to be asked to shoot village hall wedding photography. I just love the relaxed vibes of a rustic reception in the heart of a pretty Cheshire village. Anna & Tom’s colourful wedding photographs illustrate the relaxed and informal wedding day you can create when you choose a village hall wedding.
Anna & Tom’s wedding took place in May in Dunham Massey, Cheshire. The couple planned their wedding with the local community in mind. They booked venues near to their home and used local suppliers wherever possible. Their wedding at St. Mark’s church and reception at Dunham Massey Village Hall (just a stones throw from the church) was an absolute joy to photograph.

Of course a wedding in Dunham Massey village would not be complete without a visit to Dunham Massey Park. We hopped over the stile for some portraits there and even bumped into some of the deer! It was a beautiful spot for some portraits, and when we returned Anna & Tom were greeted with heaps of confetti to kick off their reception.
To continue the relaxed theme, Tom & Anna hosted their speeches on hay bales outside. They put on lots of garden games to entertain their guests. After dinner, everyone enjoyed gathering round the fire pit. Plus, there was the most beautiful sunset to round off my day taking pictures!
Congratulations Anna & Tom and thank you for having me along!
