I’ve got some colourful Stock Farm wedding photography to share with you today! It was a total pleasure to join Roxy & Dan for their relaxed wedding in Cheshire after meeting them at Sarah & Mike’s winter wedding a few years ago. After a long delay due to the pandemic, their big day finally took place in October… And it really was worth the wait for this beautifully styled, fun wedding day!
Roxy & Dan wanted a big, fun, relaxed and informal wedding day. Something that was even more important after the 18 months running up to their wedding. It was wonderful to see all their friends and family having a brilliant time laughing, joking and celebrating the marriage of this lovely couple.

Dan & Roxy held their ceremony inside the wedding barn, which was decorated beautifully with blossom trees. This gave the space such a dramatic, yet cosy setting. It was very atmospheric for their wedding photographs.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to live acoustic music and yummy canapés. I took Roxy & Dan for some portraits around the gorgeous grounds of Stock Farm Wedding Barn. It has lots of colourful spots for wedding photographs. Roxy’s mega veil was stealing the show at this point, so of course we had to get some shots of it blowing in the wind!
Dan & Roxy chose a delicious sharing barbecue (and tequila shots!) to keep conversation flowing and the atmosphere informal. They also got their guests to bring along sweet treats for the Great Wedding Bake Off, which was hotly contested and won by lemon drizzle doughnuts. My personal favourites were the cat-themed biscuits starring Roxy & Dan’s pets!
By the time the evening came around, everyone couldn’t wait to get dancing. There was one guest in particular that just did not wait for the band to start… A woman after my own heart! Watch Roxy & Dan’s wedding highlights film below…

This was my second time shooting Stock Farm Wedding Barn photographs. It was great to be back, especially after an extra year’s wait due to the pandemic. It’s great to see how this barn wedding venue in Cheshire has gone from strength to strength. Tatton Weddings have added a few new spaces to the venue, making it a fantastic choice if you are planning a big Cheshire wedding with large guest numbers.
If you enjoyed Roxy & Dan’s natural wedding photographs, you might also want to view some other barn weddings at my blog for inspiration. I’ve blogged some of the best Outdoor Wedding Venues Manchester so you can get a taste of the great outdoors for your Manchester wedding. Plus you can check out these Colourful Barn Wedding Photos or Owen House Wedding Barn Photographs for a peek at other wedding venues in Cheshire.
