I’m very excited to share these Hawkstone Hall wedding photos with you today. It was my first time shooting a wedding at Hawkstone Hall and it really is an absolute beauty of a wedding venue!
Danielle & Lee held a smashing wedding day there back in October. It was such a pleasure to capture this lovely couple after shooting for their friends Ophelia & Matt (you can see their wedding photographs here: Ashfield House Wedding Photography)
The colour palette at Hawkstone Hall is soft pastels, complemented by golds, which made it the ideal place for Lee & Danielle’s October wedding. They chose gorgeous autumnal blooms by Olive Owl flowers which were stunning. And Danielle wore a dress by one of my favourites Emma Beaumont, which was beautiful too! I think Danielle & Lee’s wedding will be a real source of inspiration for anyone wanting to plan a stylish wedding with an autumnal feel.
Wedding Photography Hawkstone Hall
Danielle & Lee’s wedding ceremony took place in the old chapel at Hawkstone Hall. It’s such an impressive space, with lots of light and gorgeous pastel tones. There was so much emotion in the ceremony too, which was lovely to see.
I was really spoilt for choice when it came to locations for Lee & Danielle’s wedding photographs. The gardens at Hawkstone Hall are massive, so I was excited to find that we could hop on the golf buggy to go location scouting. One of my favourite spots was inside the orangery, where Olive Owl had done a beautiful display of flowers up the staircase. The light there was just gorgeous.
One of my favourite special touches from Danielle & Lee’s wedding was the magician Zanda Magic. I still don’t know how he does his tricks! It made for some fun photos of the guests getting their minds blown! Wedding Photographer
Hawkstone Hall is a gorgeous luxury wedding venue in Shropshire. It was my first time as a Hawkstone Hall wedding photographer and it’s fair to say I’m obsessed! Look out for some of Danielle & Lee’s wedding photos in my Best Wedding Photography 2021 blog post.
The Shropshire wedding venue dates back to the 18th century and is a Grade 1 listed building. The way Hawkstone Hall has been refurbished to such a high standard is breathtaking. The bedrooms feature chandeliers, four-poster beds and roll-top tubs, all decorated in beautiful pastel tones. The ceremony room is in the old chapel, which is an impressive backdrop for saying ‘I do’. The rest of the building is finished in an opulent boutique style. I even had to take a selfie in the toilets!
There are lots of opportunities for wedding photos at Hawkstone Hall. The venue boasts an impressive 88 acres of pristine gardens nestled within the hills of the rolling Shropshire countryside. There’s a golf buggy available to take you around for wedding photographs, so don’t worry about having to walk too far!
I think Hawkstone Hall is a perfect blend of old-school luxury and modern aesthetics. I would love to be a wedding photographer there again, so if you’re planning a wedding at Hawkstone Hall please get in touch with me.
