There’s nothing like a good pub wedding Cheshire! Liam & Matt planned a beautifully relaxed and informal wedding day. With bags of entertainment and great food, it was a delight to photograph their wedding. And great fun for all their guests too!
Pub Wedding Cheshire
Matt and Liam hosted their wedding at The Bridge in Cheshire. This rural country pub is located in the picturesque village of Prestbury, next to the River Bollin. The Cheshire wedding venue dates back to 1626, and blends it’s historic past with modern boutique styling.
The Bridge was the perfect choice for Liam & Matt, who wanted to keep their wedding relaxed whilst showing their guests a good time. Everyone was able to enjoy the peaceful gardens with the river running by during the drinks reception. And they also got to sample the pub’s great menu of tasty food.
Bruce, Liam and Matt’s dog was another important consideration. They wanted to include him in the wedding, so it was important to find a dog friendly wedding venue. Bruce totally stole the show and was a big part of the wedding photos. If you look carefully, you can see the moment he arrived just as we were doing the big group shot!
LGBTQ Wedding Photography
Matt and Liam were keen to incorporate the LGBTQ flag into their wedding photographs… and what better way to do that than with colourful smoke bombs! We arranged for the bridal party to wave the smoke bombs from the bridge over the river. It was a very fun shot to put together!
As the couple got hitched on a perfect summers day, it was lovely to explore the village with them for their portraits after the ceremony. There are some very pretty little spots around Prestbury for wedding photos.
By the time we returned, it was time for ice cream from Daniel’s Ices! I cannot overstate what a good idea an ice cream van at a wedding is… It always goes down a treat with the guests, entertains the kids and provides fantastic photo opportunities too.
Cheshire Wedding Photographer
As a Cheshire wedding photographer, I’m very proud to be part of a community of quality wedding suppliers. Matt and Liam had hand picked a great bunch of suppliers to make their wedding special.
Musician Daisy Kate provided entertainment throughout the day, signing beautifully in the ceremony, at the drinks reception and during the meal. Delemere Flower Farm provided the wonderfully colourful flower arrangements, which were beautifully styled alongside decor by Sid & Olive. It was also lovely to bump into one of my favourites, Love Lights the Way providing the special touch of Mr & Mr light up letters.
Here’s what Liam had to say about his and Matt’s experience… Thank you both!
“We found Cass online and loved the relaxed style and vibrancy of her photography. We met with Cass on a number of occasions before the wedding and she has a brilliant way of making everything feel relaxed and natural. Nothing was too much effort, and she was able to provide support and advice throughout the process. On the day, Cass was like a ninja and save for the formal photographs, you wouldn’t know she was there! As a result, we have the most beautiful and natural wedding photographs which capture the essence of a beautiful day. I couldn’t recommend Cass enough, she was simply brilliant,”
