It was such a joy to capture Lauren & Steve’s Manchester wedding photos. These two were a super chilled couple who wanted a relaxed, simple and stylish wedding in the heart of our beautiful city.
And how chic do they look too? Lauren’s trouser two-piece from The White Closet was a killer bridal look. I absolutely loved the feathers! And Steve pulled off a seriously cool look too—pairing a jumper with his suit for a laid-back vibe that totally worked.
Midland Hotel Wedding Ceremony
Steve & Lauren’s day started at the ever-beautiful Midland Hotel, one of Manchester’s most iconic wedding venues. With its grand architecture and classic interiors, it was the perfect setting for their stylish but simple ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Lauren got ready with her bridesmaids and parents at the hotel before heading down to their simple wedding ceremony. An emotional reading was given by one of the bridesmaids, and the whole atmosphere felt relaxed, intimate, and full of personality. Exactly how a wedding should be.
Manchester Wedding Photos
After the ceremony, Lauren & Steve were showered with bucket fulls of confetti on the steps of The Midland Hotel! Afterwards we took a stroll through the streets of Manchester, making the most of the city’s amazing architecture right on the doorstep of the Midland.
I love shooting around Manchester Central Library and near the tram stop at St. Peter’s sqaure. They are iconic locations and a must for creative Manchester wedding photos! Lauren & Steve absolutely smashed it in front of the camera. They were so chilled and easy going, their wedding photos are completely natural as a result.
Lauren’s look was effortlessly modern. That feather-trimmed top and tailored trousers gave off serious cool bride vibes, and it suited her down to the ground. Her colourful wedding bouquet by Diddbox finished off the look perfectly. Meanwhile, Steve’s jumper under his blazer added a casual twist to a classic outfit—personal, comfy, and cool.
Evening Reception at Whitworth Locke
To mix up the day, Lauren & Steve headed to Whitworth Locke for their evening reception—a perfect contrast to the traditional setting of the Midland. With its stylish interiors and cool, modern vibe, it gave the evening a fresh energy that matched the couple’s style perfectly. Think disco balls, good tunes, and even better company!
