Arley Hall Wedding Photos

There’s something truly magical about winter weddings and these Arley Hall wedding photos are no exception. Rebecca & Owen’s big day at Arley Hall had all the elegance this Cheshire venue provides, complimented by a relaxed vibe that suited their personalities.

With its rich red brick, gorgeous gardens, and sweeping views across the Cheshire countryside, Arley Hall offers the perfect backdrop for a big wedding celebration. From the moment I arrived, I was taken by the drama this venue offers balanced by the cosiness of the rooms on a crisp winters day.

Cheshire Wedding Venue

Before I show you some of my favourite photos from the day, it’s worth pausing to appreciate the venue itself. Arley Hall is a family home with history in every room, the kind of place where huge portraits line the walls and fireplaces have stories of their own.

The Hall has been in the same family for over 500 years, and you can feel that legacy in the atmosphere. With its Victorian Gothic architecture, grand staircase, and the library (yes, that library — eagle-eyed viewers might recognise it from Peaky Blinders), Arley Hall is a beautiful setting for a wedding.

Winter Wedding at Arley Hall

Classic styling set the tone for Rebecca & Owen’s wedding. They went for simple florals, flickering candles, and a beautiful mix of traditional details with a few surprises. My favourite being the painted portrait of Owen & Rebecca’s beloved chihuahua!

The ceremony took place in the stunning drawing room, lit by huge windows letting in that soft winter sunlight us photographers dream of. Rebecca wore a stunning classically cut dress with a modern twist. She was accompanied down the aisle by her bridesmaids in dark green (plus all the little people who were having a great time!)

Rebecca & Owen had planned whimsical nod to The Lord of the Rings with their table plan, which added a playful, personal touch to the reception.

After the ceremony, we made the most of the extensive gardens at Arley Hall for portraits around the grounds. The gardens at Arley Hall are just as beautiful out of season — sculptural hedges, quiet corners, and those signature red-brick archways made for a romantic, cinematic setting.

Here’s what Rebecca had to say about her and Owen’s Arley Hall wedding photos. Thank you Rebecca for your kind words!

Cass was incredible from start to finish. Calm, organised, professional and made everyone feel so comfortable. Both my husband and I were quite nervous to be centre of attention, but Cass made us feel so relaxed. The photos capture our day beautifully and we cannot recommend Cass enough.

Cheshire Wedding Photographer

I’ve photographed weddings at castles, barns, and everything in between during my time as a Cheshire wedding photographer. Arley Hall is up there on the list of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues. It’s steeped in history without feeling stuffy. It’s grand, but never overwhelming or boring. And it’s so much fun to spot the locations that have been used in film and TV!

If you’re planning a wedding that combines elegance, romance, and a touch of personality (be it Lord of the Rings or something totally different!), Arley Hall is the perfect canvas for your big day. Please drop me a line for my availability for your wedding and we’ll have a chat about Arley Hall wedding photos.
