It’s a real pleasure to share these colourful Lower Damgate Farm Wedding Photos with you today! Leah & Matt were married at the weekend and had a big day filled with plenty of fun and laughter. Their guests spent the day enjoying the fantastic Peak District views and hanging out with the animals that call Lower Damgate Farm their home. Being a big animal lover, I was in my element with all the chickens, cats, goats and alpacas – not to mention Leah & Matt’s canine guests!
Colourful Wedding Lower Damgate Farm
Lower Damgate Farm is a DIY wedding venue, so Leah & Matt were able to plan their day their way. They were also able to invite many of their guests to stay on-site for the whole weekend. This suited the party atmosphere of their wedding so well and many of their guests travelled from far and wide to celebrate with them.
Matt & Leah chose pizza for their wedding breakfast and invited their guests to bring a pudding. There were lots of imaginative cakes on show, including two cakes with a climbing theme as a nod to Leah & Matt’s favourite hobby! (Matt even went for a climb with his Best Man on the morning of the wedding!) After filling up on cake, the guests enjoyed partying the night away with the ceilidh band.

Lower Damgate Farm Wedding Photography
This was my third time at Lower Damgate Farm after visiting the first time many years ago! I first visited this Peak District wedding venue a few years ago and I was blown away by the fantastic views and great DIY space. It was great to be back again and see all the improvements they have made to the space. I also love that this venue is an animal sanctuary and is home to many rescue animals!
