As per yearly Christmas tradition, it’s time for my best wedding photography roundup! It’s been another brilliant year for weddings in 2018. I’ve been invited to capture a wide variety of celebrations, from intimate urban weddings in Manchester to big family weddings in the countryside.
A familiar thread is that no matter the kind of celebrations, my couples like to do things a bit differently. I have enjoyed seeing my couples creativity run wild, making their weddings so personal and fun. Most of all, as always, I have loved seeing families and friends come together to celebrate the joining of two people in love. A big thank you to all the couples who have trusted me to capture their weddings in 2018.
My thanks also go out to the second shooters who have worked so hard at 2018’s weddings: you’re all stars!
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2019!
Best Wedding Photography 2018
As you can imagine, I take hundreds of thousands of images during the course of the year. It’s not an easy task to narrow down to just a few favourites, but I’ve tried my best! Looking through the collection I’ve put together, I noticed I’m always drawn to images of laughter. It’s not surprising as my couples’ weddings are one of the most joyful of their lives. It’s such a pleasure to join them to celebrate and capture all the fun. So take a look through my favourites below and see if you can spot yourself!
Award Winning Wedding Photography
This year I scooped my first Photographers Keeping It Real award for my favourite dance floor image of the year (possibly my favourite ever actually!) As my couples know, I love dancing around and taking pictures once the party gets going! So it’s great to have one of Kara & Andie’s Victoria Warehouse Wedding Photographs recognised with an award.
