I hope you saw Rakhi & Adam’s epic Hindu wedding on my blog previously? If not, make sure you go take a look here as today I’m sharing part two! Myself and Jo Gendle Films were treated to a lovely welcome by Rakhi’s crew at bridal preparations in Liverpool. And it was then back over to my home turf or Cheshire for their ceremony at pretty Norcliffe Chapel in Styal. Nothing could be more idyllic than walking out of the chapel to your own brass band, who then led the guests through the meadow to Quarry Bank Mill. The walkers who were out enjoying the sunshine congratulated Adam & Rakhi as they walked the route and the brass band really got us back into the party atmosphere we were all feeling the previous week!
As with Rakhi & Adam’s Hindu wedding day, we were blessed with glorious weather and fantastic light. We couldn’t resist hopping on a Quarry Bank Mill golf buggy for a trip to the meadow for their portraits, before heading back for the party. Adam & Rakhi had decorated Quarry Bank Mill with colourful paper lanterns, a fruity table plan and had provided an awesome cake buffet for the guests to munch on. By the time we got back, everyone (including me!) was eager to hit the dance floor!
Rakhi & Adam, thank you for having me along – we had a fabulous time on both your days!
