It’s a yearly tradition to post my best wedding photography of the year at Christmas time. I don’t know about you, but for me 2019 has flown by faster than ever! It’s hard to believe that a new decade is just around the corner!
I’m thankful that 2019 has been another amazing year for weddings. I’ve had the privilege of shooting at beautiful new venues around Manchester, as well as being invited back to some of my old favourites. Weddings at home have been increasingly popular with my couples in 2019, which I have loved shooting as they are so informal and natural. My highlights films have also been a hit with my couples and I’m really enjoying working on them. I’ve included some of my favourite wedding highlights films the end of this post.
My couples have continued to do things a bit differently in 2019, from including first looks before their ceremony to doing their weddings completely DIY. Colour has been a big theme this year too, which of course I have absolutely loved!
It’s always such a pleasure to be invited along to enjoy these weddings and capture them to the fullest. A huge thank you to the couples who have trusted me to photograph their wedding in 2019. I’m looking forward to seeing what next year brings (and shooting my final wedding of the year – it’s not over yet!)
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2020!
Best Wedding Photographs 2019
I’m often asked ‘how many photos have you taken?’ at weddings and the answer is loads! During the course of the year, I end up with thousands of images from weddings and from that selection I deliver the best hundreds to my couples. As you can imagine, it’s not easy task to narrow down the selection further for my ‘Best of’!
This year I’ve tried my best to pick images that most resonated with me and made me smile. It’s no surprise then that this blog post is FULL of happy faces. I just love to see people having a good time! Take a look through my favourites below and see if you can spot yourself!
Award Winning Wedding Photography
This year I scooped my second Photographers Keeping It Real award for the below image from Amy & Dave’s wedding. I was delighted to have also been shortlisted in the wedding category of The British Photography Awards. You can vote for me here.
