Thornsett Fields Farm Wedding Photography
After a super-sunny bank holiday weekend, I’m delighted to share Mel & Adam’s wedding photographs from Thornsett Fields Farm. Mel & Adam were married at this gorgeous farm venue in the Peak District on Saturday. It was a beautiful and relaxed wedding day full of gorgeous rustic details. Mel & Adam’s wedding was not only stylish, it was also brilliant fun for all their guests. My second shooter Kirstie and I had a cracking time too!
Mel & Adam had chosen a brilliant location for their outdoor ceremony. What could be better than getting married in front of the rolling Peak District hills? Lovely Louise from the Ceremony Company conducted the ceremony, which was fun and heartfelt. After sealing the deal with a kiss, Mel & Adam walked down the aisle to lots of confetti.
The reception was held in the barn which looked amazing. It was decorated with hay bales, pom-poms and lots of wild flowers. I was seriously impressed at the DIY skills of this couple (and their friends and family!) in decorating the barn so beautifully. In keeping with the relaxed feel of the day, guests were served street food and yummy homemade cake for the wedding breakfast.
After dinner the golden hour light was spectacular. I love shooting at this time of day when everything looks so warm and beautiful. The guests were also able to enjoy the lovely summer evening outside, eating pizza, riding the rodeo bull and watching the sun go down. The perfect ending to a fantastic day!
