St Stephens Hampstead Wedding Photography: Kat & Alex
I met Kat & Alex when Kat was bridesmaid at Maddy & Simon’s wedding last year and it was a real privilege to be asked to capture their wedding after they had seen Maddy & Simon’s photos.
Kat & Alex had planned a fabulous vintage wedding that was held at St. Stephens, Hampstead Heath. This former church venue is absolutely beautiful inside (it has amazing gold leaf on the walls around the ‘altar’ that you can see in some of the pictures) and was a real treat to shoot at. As St. Stephen’s has been deconsecrated, Kat & Alex were able to get married and hold their mad-hatters afternoon tea reception all in one place.
We took to the streets for Kat & Alex’s portraits, doing a mini-tour of the local area and snapping away as we went. My thanks goes out to Kat’s lovely bridesmaid Hannah who held an umbrella in between shots to stop Kat getting wet! Another notable mention goes to Bake-a-Boo for creating a fabulous naked sponge cake.
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Jackman! And thank you for having me along for your big day.
