Today on my blog, I’ve got some St. Mary’s Eccleston wedding photos from Michaela & Huw’s wedding at the weekend. These two had planned a relaxed and laid-back day with colourful, fun touches. In the words of Huw’s granny it was ‘a right proper do’. And who doesn’t like a wedding that includes a dog wearing a bow-tie?!
My second shooter Kirstie and I arrived as Michaela was getting into her beautiful blush-pink gown, which we adored. We also loved the super-colourful flowers by Anna Eite carried by Michaela & her bridesmaids. It was a very emotional moment as Michaela walked downstairs to see her dad and it was such a pleasure to be there to capture his reaction.
The ceremony took place at the very pretty St. Mary’s Church in Eccleston. After Michaela & Huw were declared married, they walked out into a beautiful summers day and a good old pelting of confetti! We then stayed near the church for Michaela & Huw’s portraits in the village.
The reception was held at Farndon Memorial Hall. Michaela & Huw had decorated the hall with colourful touches, including a pet table plan (winner!) The day was rounded off by an amazing choreographed first dance that Michaela & Huw had been working on in secret. There was lots of twirling and it ended with an epic dip, much to their guests’ delight!
