Rachel & Scott held their relaxed and quirky wedding at Georgian stately home Somerford Hall. They had gone all-out on the DIY elements of their wedding, making all the decorations, table names, favours and even the super-cute button bouquets and buttonholes themselves. Rachel looked fabulous in a short 1950s style gown complete with birdcage veil (make-up by Lavender & Lashes). She later changed from her purple heels into white Converse to complement the rest of the bridal party who all wore them too!
A highlight of the day was when Scott and his friends entertained the guests with some music, with Scott playing guitar and singing. I’m usually a bit of a hard-nut when it comes to crying at weddings, but when Scott opened by singing a song to Rachel, I had to wipe away a few tears – it was wonderful.
In the evening, Rachel & Scott’s guests were treated to a sweet buffet by the Candy Girls – and of course, I couldn’t resist taking Rachel & Scott out for a few photos with the candyfloss!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Wright-Evans and thank you for having me along for the fun.
