Kate & Keith’s Palm House Sefton Park wedding photos are some of my favourites from 2016. Their wedding had oodles of style and was so much fun to be part of!
I have been back to the Liverpool Palm House since Kate & Keith’s big day. You can also check out these stunning Sefton Park Palm House wedding photos from James and Pip’s more recent wedding.
Kate & Keith had chosen the Palm House Sefton Park in Liverpool for their ceremony and reception. This fabulous Victorian venue is amazing for Palm House Sefton Park wedding photographs as there is so much natural light coming in during the day. It’s also completely full of plants, making it the perfect place for a botanical inspired wedding.
I know Kate & Keith found the venue space so inspiring when it came to styling their wedding. They chose little succulents to dress the tables and the botanical theme also extended to Kate’s beautiful flower crown. Keith and the boys wore succulent buttonholes, which looked amazing! Here’s what Kate had to say about what happened at their wedding ceremony at Sefton Park Palm House…
“We both had a relaxed time on the morning of our wedding! I got ready with my family and bridesmaids at my parents’ house, where we had our make-up and hair done. Once Keith was ready, he had a couple of drinks in his namesake bar – Keith’s Wine Bar on Lark Lane – right around the corner from our venue! We had two lovely 1970s Rolls Royce Silver Shadows to take us to the Palm House. My dad and I walked into the ceremony to Canon in D by Pachabel, which was played by our pianist Ed. James, my sister’s partner, read ‘The One’ during our ceremony and Keith and I walked out to Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles.”
How fabulous! You’ve got to include The Beatles in a Liverpool wedding haven’t you?! I had a lot of fun shooting Kate & Keith’s portraits. They brought along some purple smoke bombs which added a lot of atmosphere to their colourful wedding photographs.
I was fortunate enough to have Kate & Keith’s Palm House wedding featured on Rock My Wedding blog. Kate wrote a little bit about her and Keith’s experience working with me…
“We wanted a photographer that would capture the day as it happened without too many formal photos and Cass fitted the bill perfectly. Cass was so friendly; our family and friends said how they felt like they’d known her for ages on the day! We went into the woods and used purple smoke grenades to achieve a dramatic background for some of the photos. We are so pleased with the final photos we have,”
Thank you so much Kate & Keith for your kind words and having me along to share your day! Congratulations to you both and thank you for choosing me to capture your Sefton Park Palm House wedding!
