Today on the blog: Becky & Jon’s Manley Mere wedding photographs from their big day at the weekend. Becky & Jon held their wedding outside in the gorgeous gardens at Manley Mere in Cheshire. It was the ideal location for an outdoorsy wedding and Becky & Jon’s guests had a great time relaxing on the lake during this fun day. It was a beautiful setting for a late-summer wedding!
The day began with relaxed getting ready with Becky & her bridesmaids at Manley Mere. Becky & Jon’s little nephew was playing a starring role during this part. And he also did a grand job throwing confetti down the aisle (with a bit of help from mum) to announce Becky’s arrival over the bridge to the ceremony. Becky smiled all the way down the aisle. It was great to see a bride enjoying the moment! After the lovely ceremony, which featured top tunes from the choir, Jon & Becky walked out to a shower of confetti.
Jon & Becky’s guests were entertained with garden games and a round of heads or tails during the speeches, before tucking into a BBQ. During the meal, it was great to catch up with one of my previous couples Amy & Dave, who were married last year and were also kind enough to model for us at Shoot Joy workshop (thanks guys!)
Before the party kicked off, I took the opportunity to explore the lake at Manley Mere for Becky & Jon’s portraits. The water was such a beautiful blue colour, it was gorgeous! And none of us fell in so that was a winner too!
Jon & Becky started the dancing with You’ve Got the Love, played by fabulous band The Fanatics who kept us dancing all night!
