Bea & Dan married in April at All Hallows Church in Liverpool in one of the most unusual and emotional ceremonies I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. The bridal party entrance was completely different, as Bea & Dan followed Columbian tradition and met each other half-way down the aisle; Bea walking in with her dad and Dan walking with his mum. Bea also followed tradition by carrying a bouquet expertly made by Dan. Their ceremony was full of emotion, particularly when Bea’s dad gave a lovely speech about his daughter and led prayers for the couple.
After the ceremony, it was onto Victorian venue The Isla Gladstone in Stanley Park where the reception was held. Bea’s mum had done a fantastic job arranging all the flowers in the conservatory and it looked beautifully light and airy in the sunshine. As it was such a lovely day, we waited until golden hour to shoot Bea & Dan’s portraits and the soft light was awesome, as was the sunset that you can see in the picture above!
Bea & Dan’s wedding was action packed from start to finish and it was incredible to witness all the joy as Bea & Dan’s friends and family joined together to see these two start their new life together. Thank you to Bea & Dan for looking after us so well. Thank you also to my second shooter Lucy Clara Cooper for the amazing additional shots.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Roberts – here’s your day!
