It’s always great fun to go back to my motherland of Gloucestershire for a wedding. Ollie & Lucy’s wedding was extra fun as they’re old friends from Art Foundation, where Ollie & Lucy first met and got together by the end of the course!
Ollie & Lucy chose cracking Gloucestershire venue Kingscote Barn for their big day. It was wall-to-wall sunshine the day of the wedding, so Ollie & Lucy were able to get married outside with the rolling hills as a backdrop and sheep bleating during their vows. This being the marriage of two creative minds, Ollie & Lucy had done a wonderful job decorating the barn with lots of vintage style touches; my favourite being little peg dolls of Ollie, Lucy & their cat Sheldon to decorate the naked wedding cake! Lucy had also made her own headpiece, which looked fantastic with her backless fishtail wedding gown. The flowers were absolutely stunning too – I just loved Lucy’s weighty peony and succulent bouquet, which her sisters decorated with heirlooms on the morning of the wedding.
My best moment of the day was driving up to the barley field at Kingscote for some golden hour portraits. By then it had cooled down enough to get some relaxed photographs of Lucy & Ollie enjoying each others company. The blue sky was total perfection! I also got some shots of them in their sunglasses, which are some of my favourite images from the day. The two of them just look so cool.
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Sin – here’s your day!
