Amanda & Phil were married on Saturday and I’m excited to share their Colshaw Hall wedding photographs with you! It was fantastic to share the day with my second shooter Imogen Wastell and ace videographer Bruce from Love Two Film, who are both part of the Shoot Joy workshop family. The three of us had a wonderful time celebrating with Amanda & Phil. Capturing all the happy moments of the day is what it’s all about!
The day began in the old house at Colshaw Hall. Amanda & the girls got ready upstairs whilst the boys were on weather watch downstairs! After a rainy morning, the weather cleared just in time for the ceremony, much to the boys relief! Amanda & Phil’s wedding ceremony was heartfelt and beautifully styled by Verdure Floral. Strings Attached played Amanda and her dad into the ceremony and it was a really special moment to hear live music as they came down the aisle. Phil & Amanda smiled all the way through the ceremony and Imogen, Bruce and I were delighted to see a ‘proper kiss’ as they were announced husband and wife!
The gorgeous styling continued into the reception and it was clear so much hard work had gone into Amanda & Phil’s day (the table plan looked amazing!). But most of all, the stand-out thing about Amanda & Phil’s wedding was that they are great together. It’s such a pleasure to work with a cracking couple who smile and laugh together all day. And the guests were having a ball too! I’ve never seen such a energetic entrance into the reception with everyone waving their napkins as Amanda & Phil came in!
