We’re off to the seaside on the blog today for Becky & Jaaf’s fabulously colourful festival wedding. This lovely pair got hitched in Scarborough at beautiful tipi wedding venue Wildwood & Eden. Their day was full of fun and laughter and oozed festival style, inspired by their many jaunts to see live music over the years.
Becky & Jaaf’s guests were issued with their ‘wedfest’ wristbands on arrival. Their VIP passes gave them access to witness the happy couple get hitched, plus lots of pizza, booze and good times! My second shooter Wing and I had a cracking time capturing Becky & Jaaf’s big day and I just love all the COLOUR in their wedding photographs.
Festival Wedding
In keeping with the relaxed feel of their wedding, Becky & Jaaf opted for a celebrant-led ceremony that was personal to them. This took place in the two-level barn at Wildwood & Eden, which provided a quirky backdrop for Jaaf & Becky to say ‘I do’. After the ceremony, the guests made the most of the gorgeous weather to enjoy drinks in the countryside with acoustic music playing, before heading into the festival themed tipi for the wedding breakfast.
As night closed in, the band began to play and the pizza started flowing! The pizza van was such a hit with the guests (and us too!). It also made a brilliant backdrops for portraits, have I mentioned I love yellow?! Don’t Becky and her bridesmaids (in the most gorgeous rust coloured dresses), look fabulous posed in front of it?!
