Clearwell Castle Wedding Photography: Lucy & Jaime
I was down in my homeland of Gloucestershire at the weekend for Lucy & Jaime’s Clearwell Castle wedding photography. I had met Lucy back in our Art Foundation days, so it was great to catch up with her again and meet Jaime on their big day! It seems very fitting to shoot weddings for the creative people I was around when I was first getting into photography.(
Lucy & Jaime had planned a cosy winter wedding in the heart of the Forest of Dean, with beautiful rich colours and personal touches. I loved the little references to Star Wars and comics throughout the wedding. It gave such a fun and relaxed feel to the day.
My day began at Lucy’s parents house, where I just had to get a photo of Lucy in front of her dad’s truck. Lucy looks so cool – I love it! Meanwhile, my second shooter Christy was with the boys at the pub before the ceremony at Westbury on Severn church.
The ceremony was personal, with the vicar talking about how Lucy & Jaime are a perfect match for each other. Christy & I couldn’t agree more as these two definitely share the same sense of humour. They laughed and joked with each other all the way through their portraits in the gorgeous winter light.
Big congratulations Jaime & Lucy and thank you for having us along!
(P.s Look out for the highlights video coming soon too! Thanks to Christy for being such a star capturing images whilst I was doing video!)
