Clare & James were married at Hilltop Country House in Prestbury; a beautiful venue in Cheshire. Clare & James came to me at quite short notice and I was pleased I was free to shoot their wedding as they had planned a fun day which included a VW camper & Beetle, gorgeous flowers and a cat-themed table plan that was right up my street!
The day kicked off with James and his ushers having an old-fashioned shave at Gentry Grooming in Wilmslow, whilst I headed to the girls getting ready at Clare’s parents (where I got to meet Jack the cat, who had a table named after him at the wedding!). Clare looked fabulous in a full circle tulle gown, complete with an Audrey Hepburn hairstyle and tiara, carrying a beautiful peony bouquet.
As soon as the ceremony started the sun came out and the sky became an incredible blue! It really set the tone for the rest of the day, with guests relaxing and playing garden games outside in the sunshine. In the evening the guests were entertained by a walk-in photo booth from Acorn Events and dancing in Hilltop’s ‘boogie room’ (got to love any room that’s designed for boogie-ing!). It was also Clare’s mum Gina’s birthday, so she cut a cake in the evening to celebrate!
