Sue & Steve’s beautiful wedding was my first of 2014 and the Christmas decorations were still up for their day! They had planned a relaxed wedding full of vintage inspired touches with a rustic twist and there were even a few hay bales thrown in as part of the theme since Steve is a farmer… Sue & Steve had first met in their Maths class at school, but had not got together until many years later after meeting again by chance. And now they’re married!
Sue & Steve had their ceremony at St.Peter’s Church, Plemstall, which is just a stones throw away from Sue’s parents house where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready (with the help of a friend who did a fabulous job with their make-up). After the ceremony, everyone headed to Abbeywood Estate in Cheshire for the reception, which was decorated beautifully by Sue & Steve and their friends and family. There was quite a bit of rain on Sue & Steve’s day, but for 10 minutes there was a divine break in the bad weather in which the sunlight was absolutely beautiful. It was a real blessing for me and my second shooter Ayesha to use that moment to capture Sue & Steve’s portraits around Abbeywood.
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Siddorn and thank you for having us along for your day!
Thank you also to Ayesha for second shooting.
