Sarah & Adam’s big day was my final wedding of 2013 and it was fantastic to round off the year with a bang! As it was only two days after Christmas, everything was looking sparkly and all the guests were full of festive cheer 🙂 Even my Mum and Dad (who had been staying with us for Christmas) came along to watch Sarah go into the Town Hall!
Adam & Sarah had a Humanist Ceremony at Manchester Town Hall, for which they had picked special readings and written their own vows. Straight after the marriage ceremony, we did a mini-tour of the Town Hall for some creative portraits before all the guests piled onto the vintage bus to head to the reception at Northern Quarter venue Twenty Twenty Two. The sun was just about setting at this point and it was lovely to have some soft golden light inside the bus. As we arrived at the reception, the guests spotted Sarah & Adam’s personalised wedding posters, which had been put up all around Manchester by a friend. See if you can spot one in the Northern Quarter – there are 100s of them!
Sarah & Adam had done a great job of decorating Twenty Twenty Two, (which made a fantastic blank canvas) by filling the space with vintage flowerpots and balloons. Their yummy food was provided by The Silver Apples and there was a cake buffet as well as a cheese cake for the main event. The guests made use of the ample dance floor all evening, as well as visiting us in the cloakroom for the photo booth, for which we made use of the fantastic white wall tiles Twenty Twenty Two.
Thank you Sarah & Adam for having us along for your day and big congratulations to you!
Thanks also to Laura from Baby Picture This for second shooting.

Very cool. This looks like it was a lot of fun and I love the urban couples portraits. Fab work.
